FAQ/Feedback

After I decorate both sides of all 5 panels of the purse, will it be difficult to get them into the purse?  TOP

No it should not be difficult however the fit will be snug as it should be. What you can do for ease of insertion of panels and pocket cards is soften vinyl first using a blow dryer on a low heat setting.

How should I clean my purse?  TOP

You can use either plain water, or glass cleaner on a soft clean cloth to wipe off your purse.  If you find you need something stronger you can use a small amount of low odor mineral spirits on a soft clean cloth.

I just got my purse and noticed bubbles in the pockets. Will those go away or is this a defect?  TOP
This is not a defect. As soon as you slide your pocket cards into the pockets, the bubbles will disappear. We do recommend; however, when using photos it's best to make a copy of the original photograph so that there is no reaction to the vinyl.

I live in a very cold state. Will my purse crack in the cold temperatures?  TOP
No, the purse will not crack. The vinyl will stiffen in colder temperatures but will soften when it warms to room temperature.

If the panels of the purse are going to be covered with paper, does it matter what color purse I order?  TOP
No, it does not matter unless you are covering the panels with a thin paper that is very light in color. In that case you may want to get a cream purse.  Also, remember that you can stamp or paint directly onto a panel of the purse however you should then cover the opposite side of that panel with paper so that it adds additional stability to the panel.

I'm not sure I can do this. Does the purse come with instructions?  TOP
Yes, there is an instructional sheet included with your purse that will walk you through the process step by step. And remember, there are no rules. YOU are the designer!

Is the purse durable? How long will the inside panels last?  TOP

The purse body is very durable. The 5 panels that make up the front, back, sides and bottom of the purse will last a very long time before they need to be replaced. There are a few things you can do to extend the life of the panels. Cover both sides of each panel with paper. The heavier the paper the more durable the panel will be. Not only will it make your purse stronger and more durable, you wil get 2 looks. It will be reversible. Just keep your clean and you can continue to order and decorate many sets of replacement panels and pocket cards. Create an entire purse wardrobe! Use the same purse body to switch to different looks.

What is an ATC or Artist Trading Card?  TOP
Click on the link below. There you will find a description of Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) and Art Card, Editions and Originals (ACEOs) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist_trading_cards

What is the capacity of the purse?  TOP

The purse measures approximately 8" high, 3" deep and 11" wide. It will comfortably hold a significant amount of necessities however, it is important not to overfill it. If you find your purse bulging or not closing properly, you may be over filling it.  An example of what the purse will hold would be; a medium sized wallet, small makeup bag, cell phone, keys, pens, sunglasses and reading glasses.

Customer Feedback

"Greetings!   I wanted to let you know that I ordered my purse on 7/13, and it was at my home on 7/15!  I never imagined that it would arrive so soon!  And, it's great!  Exactly what I had hoped it would be!  I didn't have much time last night to "play" so I just put in some of my ATC's and it looks wonderful with the black background!  BTW, my husband thinks that it's pretty cool, too!" Thanks! Best wishes! Penny :)

"My purse arrived today!!!  What fabulous customer service you have!!!  I received your voice mail as well as the note in your package and I wanted you to know that everything arrived in perfect condition. I love the style of the purse, I think it is so much more functional than some of the hard purses on the market.  And I also love the silver chain in the handle.  I think it's very contemporary looking! Thanks again!"Blessings, Erika

"LOVE it! I will work on it this weekend and send you some scans. Thank-you sooooooo much!" Jackie Cummings

"I love this purse.  I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I carry this bag to show off our stamps and accessories.  People literally stop me on the street!  It's such a fun way to express yourself; show off your art or personal photos!  It's comfortable to carry, very roomy and sturdy. The inserts are easy to remove and change.  The perfect purse for Artists, Rubber Stampers, ATC lovers, or Scrapbookers!" Sarah Moore Stampin' Up! And - on top of everything, you've included some business cards (which would have been my next request) - - - it's great when you've already anticipated my next question - - - that's REAL Customer Service! Again - Thanks so much for the personal touch!! "I recently carried my (newly created) Art Purse to my monthly Silpada Meeting... and could have sold 20 of them on the spot! I am sending your website information http://www.pursueyourart.com/ to these girls that want to buy the purse!  I know you will be as helpful to them as you were with me!  I am NOT crafty at all, but this purse looks fabulous"! Karla Donovan

Hi!   I've had a wonderful time already with my Pursue Your Art purse.  I bought the style that fits 2 cards and had so much fun personalizing it.   I used my Xyron machine to adhere the paper to the panels.  It was such an easy process!  I added a little ribbon and the inner panels were done.  I then created my A2 sized cards to be featured.  I used all Stampin' Up products.  The hardest part of this was figuring out how I wanted to design it!  I am very satified!   I plan to use my purse as a conversation starter to drum up business.  I fully intend to buy some additional panels and am already considering the ATC style purse.  Thank you for this pocketbook and user friendly alternative to z other bag!   So enough gushing, I've attached the photos of my purse.    Thanks and keep up the good work!
